In conversation with Emilie Holmes
Thursday 5th December, 1-2pm
Emilie Holmes, Founder Good & Proper
Back in 2012, Emilie was a frustrated tea-drinker, so left her job at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising to start a business, Good & Proper, with the aim of showing the world how good tea can be, when it's done properly.
Over 11 years on, she is as passionate now as she was then about raising the profile of specialty tea, and changing the way the UK thinks about and drinks the nation's favourite hot drink.
She still tastes and selects every batch of tea herself, and having run two Tea Bars in Central London, her and her team now work closely with hospitality partners across the country to help them get the best from their leaves. She has also written a book about tea, including recipes for cakes, iced teas, cocktails and more.
